Corporate Information

President’s Greeting

DDS is a leading company in the field of biometric authentication technologies including fingerprint authentication. Since the establishment of the company in 1995, DDS has been working toward achieving a knowledge-based venture company by transferring advanced technologies through industry-university collaboration. As a result of our efforts in creating a business model for linking technologies and market needs, we have established a solid footing in the fingerprint authentication business market. Fortunately, we were able to go public at the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers in November 2005. In 2006, we expanded our sales, development, and production capacity in Japan and overseas. We would like to express our gratitude for the assistance you gave us with this advancement.

In order to build a ubiquitous society where “everyone can securely and easily receive the benefit of information technologies anywhere and anytime,” it is essential that new elemental technologies that can be used to create new products and service be speedily applied. To make this happen, we have been working to build an industry-university collaboration system with external research institutions including Nagoya Institute of Technology for matching the latest market needs and the progress of technology development. In addition, we will extend the alliance with technology venture companies in Japan and overseas for the fastest commercialization of technologies, particularly targeting the commercialization of advanced technology products in the five areas of a ubiquitous market: (1) security including fingerprint authentication, (2) amusement such as online karaoke equipment, (3) mobile devices including cell phones, (4) ITS which takes on the role of automobile informatization, (5) robots as an integration of information technologies.

DDS will take up the challenge of the realization of a ubiquitous society not only in Japan but in the whole world, taking advantage of the synergy generated in the development of advanced technologies through industry-university collaboration and business alliances.

We will strive to be profitable to the shareholders and customers by gaining more shares in the global market for fingerprint authentication products and more.

Your continued support will be greatly appreciated.
